8 Ways of Knowing – First Nations People Community Leadership Program

Categories

In partnership with Salt Studio Consultancy and guided by Senior Wurundjeri Elder, Aunty Di Kerr, we co-designed a community leadership program aimed at supporting a group of First Nations community leaders and elders to enhance their skills to advocate for change in Melbourne’s west.
A program designed with cultural safety at its core, utilising yarning circles, artwork, and theory to unravel the participants’ inner strengths and capabilities. The elders now sit on various boards and advisory committees and actively participate in civic life.
